A unique, boutique intellectual property firm focused on working with fast growing technology companies and startups is looking for a dynamic team player to join the team. The role is as a patent engineer and trainee patent attorney, fully or partially qualified. Our company is headquartered in Cambridge, UK and we are now looking to expand our European presence.

All positions are based in our new office in Wroclaw, Poland. It is also possible to work remotely. Candidates must be already eligible to work in Poland without the need to apply for a work permit.

Intellectual Property / Patent Engineer /  Patent Attorney
(Specjalista ds. Patentowych
i Własności Intelektualnej / Rzecznik Patentowy)
Location: Wrocław, Poland

This role requires a highly motivated individual with good communication skills who enjoys handling multiple types of technology and science, and is prepared to roll up their sleeves as the firm and our client base are growing quickly. Preferred domain expertise should include one or more of ICT, Software & Computing,  Mechanical, Med Tech or Life Sciences.

Qualified (or part-qualified) as a European Patent Attorney would be a bonus.

The firm’s clients include large multinationals, small to medium sized companies, startups, as well as universities and other intellectual property firms around the world.  You will work in a team with both junior and senior patent attorneys on new patent drafts, prosecution and IP strategy. You will have responsibility for communicating directly with clients about their patent cases and will work closely with partners of the firm, as well as with other secretaries and administrative staff.

Typical day-to-day tasks include:

  • Reviewing official correspondence from the patent offices and preparing responses;
  • Working closely with clients on invention spotting;
  • Drafting patent applications, preparing claim sets;
  • Conducting patent prosecution;
  • Client management.

You must be able to use MS Office (skilled in Excel formulas) and, ideally, have experience with Adobe Acrobat.  You will be provided with in-house training on the firm’s electronic filing, records and other IT systems.

Starting salary will be based on experience, qualifications and interview performance.


Intellectual Property & Technology Commercialisation Specialist

Location: Wrocław, Poland

This role requires a highly motivated individual with good communication skills who enjoys handling multiple types of technology and science, and is prepared to roll up their sleeves as the firm and our clientbase are growing quickly.

The firm’s clients include large multinationals, small to medium sized companies, startups, as well as universities and other intellectual property firms around the world.  You will be responsible for conducting market research and developing strategies to allow for commercialisation of our clients’ portfolio. You will have responsibility for communicating directly with clients about their business matters and will work closely with partners of the firm, as well as with other secretaries and administrative staff.

Typical day-to-day tasks include:

  • Conducting market research across various technologies and industries;
  • Close cooperation with the clients to establish the best strategy for commercialisation;
  • Lead generation (potential partners, licensees, clients etc.);
  • Project management.

You must be able to use MS Office (skilled in Excel formulas) and, ideally, have experience with Adobe Acrobat.  You will be provided with in-house training on the firm’s electronic filing, records and other IT systems.

In the medium to long term, there are genuine prospects for career development to any level if you are willing to show initiative and take on responsibility. Sky is the limit!

Intellectual Property Administrator / Paralegal

Location: Wrocław, Poland

This role requires a highly motivated individual who:

  • is interested in Intellectual Property matters;
  • enjoys the organised and well-structured working environment which they can not only maintain but also create;
  • has excellent attention to detail;
  • communicates clearly and has an outstanding standard of written English;
  • enjoys international environment.

This position would be suitable for a recent graduate, or someone with legal / IP administration background. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential.

The firm’s clients include large multinationals, small to medium sized companies, startups, as well as universities and other intellectual property firms around the world. You will have responsibility for communicating directly with clients about their IP matters and will work closely with partners of the firm, as well as with other secretaries and administrative staff.

Typical day-to-day tasks include:

  • supporting partners and client managers with their work;
  • reviewing incoming emails, noting instructions and relevant deadlines, replying where appropriate, and saving to electronic files;
  • preparing and filing documents at patent offices;
  • preparing and sending correspondence to clients;
  • managing the invoicing system;
  • assisting with the arrangement of overseas trips.

You must be able to use MS Office (skilled in Excel formulas) and, ideally, have experience with Adobe Acrobat. You will be provided with in-house training on the firm’s electronic filing, records and other IT systems.

Trade Mark Administrator / Paralegal

Location: Wrocław, Poland

This role requires a highly motivated individual who:

  • is interested in Intellectual Property matters, specifically trade marks and branding strategies;
  • enjoys the organised and well-structured working environment which they can not only maintain but also create;
  • has excellent attention to detail;
  • communicates clearly and has an outstanding standard of written English;
  • enjoys international environment.

This position would be suitable for a recent graduate, or someone with legal background. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential.

The firm’s clients include large multinationals, small to medium sized companies, startups, as well as universities and other intellectual property firms around the world. You will have responsibility for communicating directly with clients about their IP matters and will work closely with partners of the firm, as well as with other secretaries and administrative staff.
